Madison Judo, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to promoting the sport of judo as a way to enhance the well-being of its members.

Madison Judo has many coaches and all are certified with
USA Judo* and volunteer their time. Both our head coach and technical advisor are former international competitors with many years of competition and coaching experience. This enables Madison Judo to provide judo coaching to players of all levels and ages for fees that reflect the organization’s low overhead costs.

We make judo available for all and give scholarships to those that qualify.

Madison's most skillful and successful judo players choose to train at Madison Judo.

Madison Judo is one of the largest judo clubs in Wisconsin and the premier judo club in the Madison area.

- Club members must behave in accordance with published policies and procedures and follow dojo etiquette at all times.
- Club membership, as well as obligatory USA Judo membership must be renewed on an annual basis when requested.
- Club members should be on time for training, competitions and other events.
- Club members should pay fees for training or events promptly.
- Club members are not allowed to smoke or to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or while representing the club.
- Club members are required to sign in prior to training.
- Club members must observe health and safety rules at all times.
- Club members, if planning to visit another club or enter a competition, should discuss this with their coach before the event.
- Club members must only represent Madison Judo and not promote or support clubs or organizations other than Madison Judo, without permission of Madison Judo's board.
- Club members rank, as shown by belt worn, must be recognized by USA Judo, USJA or an IJF affiliated governing body.
- Club members will not receive fees for their coaching or time given to Madison Judo.

Any problems or issues should be brought to the attention of the Head Coach in the first instance. The Head Coach will then inform the management committee of their resolution or request support from the committee.
